Hunting for Volunteering Opportunities in the Art Space
Since my battle with depression, socializing and going out has been challenging. However, I found a new outlet for my creativity through art. I have always had a deep appreciation for music, theater, and arts and crafts. Watching people open glue sticks, cut paper, or prepare food and assemble ingredients mesmerizes me. Art has become a passion for me, and my recent conversation with Andreas Ribbung, an inspiring artist, has motivated me to explore volunteering opportunities and work with art pieces. Unfortunately, it’s commonly known that many artists, like myself, struggle financially. Despite limited resources, I have discovered the joy of painting and expressing my frustrations. I have an endless love for creating and aspire to be recognized as an artist. This journey has led me to realize the practical jobs available in the art industry, such as managing art fairs, working as an administrative professional in a studio, or becoming a consultant and art project leader for school and hospital projects. Although achieving these roles requires time and experience, I am determined to be involved in decision-making processes regarding appropriate artworks.
